Description
Developed by SOUTO, the team behind SASHSTOP and the team at Souber Tools – this Window Opening Kit has been designed to assist in the opening a window that may otherwise have broken, seized or failed in someway due to an issue with the opening mechanism.
These tools have been created from a need and desire of our resident locksmith to allow for the opening of a failed window mechanism. This kit has been carefully designed, developed and tested to bring you a kit that we genuinely feel is all you need to open a failed window mechanism!
Included in this kit are the following parts:
- Window Spreader – used to gain access to the mechanism.
- Mushroom/Roller Striker – designed to help locate the cam/roller of the mechanism and can then be used to potentially manipulate the mechanism.
- Window Scotia Guard – a lovely add-on that helps to protect the window frame, designed to spread the load and to avoid the tools from creasing/marking the frame.
- Travel Case – keep your new tools safe, protected and in one place thanks to this handy and durable travel case.
